PCB increases Match Fee of Pakistani Cricketers across all Formats

Just In: Pakistan Cricket Board has increased the match fees across all formats by 10% for all national team players. From now onwards, the match fee will remain the same for centrally contracted cricketers of all categories.

According to the Latest PCB’s Match Fee Model, players will get Rs.838,530 for playing each test match, whereas the previous payment structure was 762,300 for each test. In addition, the match fee for an ODI match has also jumped from Rs.468,815 to 515,696.

Similarly, the match fee for playing T20 matches has also increased from Rs.338,250 to Rs. 372,075. However, the new match fee structure will be enforced after the announcement of new central contracts for national players.

Pakistan Cricket Board has also increased the salaries and match fees for non-cricketing members. According to the sources, PCB would also increase the number of players included in the Central Contract for the upcoming year.

Moreover, PCB has also revealed the Contracts for White-Ball and Red-Ball Cricketers. It’s 1st time in history when PCB added White and Red Ball Cricketers to their contract list. As per details, Baber Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Muhammad Rizwan, Hassan Ali, and Imam ul Haq are included in both Red and White Ball Contracts.

Apart from senior players, 10 players are included in Red-Ball Contracts, while 11 players are added in White-Ball Contracts. Besides this, seven young cricketers are also awarded emerging contracts by Pakistan Cricket Board.
