Just In: Pakistan star wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan sent a prolific message to his fans on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. The young cricketer urges followers to improve themselves before blaming politicians and others for wrongdoings.
While speaking on Twitter Spaces, Rizwan shared an important message for the people of Pakistan. The 27-year-old cricketer made his requisition to people to remain sincere to themselves and their country first before pointing out the politicians. He also stated that as a nation, we need to move forward.
“We should look at ourselves first and what we are doing instead of looking towards our Prime Minister, MNAs and MPAs. We need to make ourselves better before blaming others for our destruction,” says Mohammad Rizwan.
Mohammad Rizwan has also shared his views regarding his performance in India versus Pakistan match played in T20I World Cup. He said, “During our match against India, I wasn’t feeling anything as it was just a normal game. I can’t express the love and support that the nation gave me.”
The batter also shed light on the issues of Pakistan Cricket team. Rizwan said, “We keep on fighting each other over who will perform better for Pakistan and sometimes we also use some words against Each other which I cannot say here.”
“Even we get upset when we lose. There are ups and downs but we keep trying to deliver our best performances for our country. We should keep striving for our Country’s betterment, and every Pakistan should think in such a way”, he added.
During the conversation, Rizwan also congratulated Pakistani athletes for winning Gold Medals during the Commonwealth Games 2022. “The likes of Arshad Nadeem, Nooh Dastagir Butt, and other medal winners overcame the odds and performed for their country and congratulated them on their outstanding achievements,” added the Vice-Captain.
